Some simple guidelines for you, to ensure your video is produced with the highest quality possible.

When shooting a testimonial video, you want to make sure to follow a few key guidelines.
You do not need to edit or construct your review video. We will do al the post production and editing in house to make you look good. You can send us multiple videos and pictures too and we'll clean it up without editing your message.
We will only ‘produce’ videos in widescreen, theatrical format. Post production is done by professionals to high standards and uploaded to Youtube and Vimeo for widescreen distribution.
No vertical videos. Videos play best on wide screens and are larger when viewed this way. We believe videos should be oriented like our eyeballs; side by side, not one on top of the other.
If shooting with a DSLR or other video device like a camcorder, try to use a tripod if you can. If you can’t try to set the camera on something. Stable video is less distracting.
If shooting with a phone, which is most common, a tripod or other stand can be hard to come by. Resting it on a shelf or against a book or making a stand from a paper clip are all good ideas.
Put yourself on one side of your shot, allowing us to see your dealership on the other side. Orient your shot so that in the background your inventory or a key feature of your store is visible.
Make sure your camera or phone is recording in the highest quality possible. To save storage space, you may have lowered this setting in the past. It’s really good to double check.
Try to shoot when it’s not too loud nearby. If we can’t hear your voice, it will be really hard to use your review.
Send us a few extra videos/images of the inside and/or outside of your store, and we’ll cut them into the video. That way, as a bonus, if you stumble a little while talking, we can clip that part out while showing your showroom.
Shooting your video this way insures that we have the best footage to use, to represent you, your dealership and your message, in a way that makes your store and your team shine.
